Heute vor 27 Jahren: Am 30. Mai 1998 führte #Pakistan den #Atomtest Chagai-II in der Kharan-Wüste, Balochistan, durch, nur zwei Tage nach Chagai-I. Ziel war es, neue Waffendesigns zu testen, nicht die Effekte. Insgesamt wurden im Mai 1998 sechs Tests durchgeführt.
