Was hoping to get lots of things done this weekend. Preparing the garden for winter, messing around with some hardware, watching some movies … instead I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that the mild uveitis-sensation doesn’t blossom into the real deal while staying away from light. Sigh. It’s always on weekends when the local apothecary closes early.

This weekend I watched Mike Monteiro's "How to draw an orange" keynote and I think more people should. Because while it has some great "AI" criticism emerging from a deeply humanist and creative perspective I really enjoyed how it talks more about the structures that keep us from becoming ourselves. It's such a treat.
