This weekend will be a bit sad. It is the last weekend for the farmers market. We will miss the fresh local products until next May. I made it a point to pay cash so that they don't have a portion go to the credit card company. I go to our local bakery several times a week and buy fresh bread, rolls, and treats. Again, paying cash. When possible, I try to patronize small independent businesses.
