These days you can simulate anything you want
Driving a train or truck, flying a plane, surgeon, hotel assistant, motel operator, influencer, OF model, goat simulator, power wash simulator, football team manager, breakup simulator
When I was a kid, we barely had sim city, sim ant, flight stimulator, crazy taxi, and katamari
Now you can simulate being a tree or a rock, or a corporate slave tearing apart spaceships

One last running photo for today -- I'll post a few more of my best tomorrow and hopefully a link to my Behance with more, counting down 25 1/2 hours to Caturday

Man with black curly hair is flying with both feet off the ground and his left thumb (your right up) while a volunteer in shorts and a white sweatshirt looks off the left of the frame and a barely visible volunteer holds a red flag to stop a black car by a safety cone.

The joys of genetics x US "healthcare" have caught up to me. Been feeling off a while, sweating more than usual doing stuff, more anxious and irritable than usual, odd hot/cold flash issues. I just thought I wasn't getting enough rest, and our diet isn't the best cause we're barely existing as it is.
Last couple weeks I've picked up some UTI, which has exacerbated my earlier symptoms enough we started digging in trying to figure it out. Partner came across Gr…

I was late to pick my daughter up from camp because #NYCParks closed a huge portion of Corona-Meadows Flushing Park. Apparently for some kind of music festival. There was, of course, no bike detour. The area has highways running through it, and the bridges over the highways are cordoned off. How do you get to

View from an overpass bridge sidewalk, showing a chain-link fence at the end completely blocking access to the park. In the background, trees and the big.. I don' t even know what they are, sculptures?
A sign for KeineMusik Soulection, saying "there will be restricted park access july 21st - july 31st to the following areas: skate park, festival grounds, ny state pavilion, garden of meditation, and surrounding areas. The map shows an area of the park bordered by the Long Island Expressway (a highway) on one side, the Grand Central Parkway (a highway) on another side.
A pedstrian overpass entrance, showing 3 offset chain-link fences close together so that you can barely fit a bike (or stroller/wheelchair, for that matter).

Hmm… to be lucky, perhaps, but to be proud of having been born somewhere may well be the problem.
Letter in The Guardian:

Great to see the Saint George's cross flying everywhere. It was first adopted by Richard Lionheart, king of England. During his reign he lived in France, barely visited England and didn't speak a word of English. Saint George himself was a Roman soldier, born in Turkey and martyred for his Christian beliefs. Such multiculturalism makes you proud to be British. Andrew Gould Bosham, West Sussex
