Die Ampel hat zahlreiche Verfahren stark vereinfacht, damit Private bei der Energiewende mitspielen können. Das gilt für Einfamiliehausbewohner und Mieter. Die Bürokratie der Energieversorger macht es aber zu einem irrsinnigen Spießrutenlaufen, obwohl angeblich alles schon angepasst ist. Los geht es mit dem VDE FNN. Hier der Einleitungstext für das Formular für die Anmeldung von PV-Balkonanlagen und Speicher.
Alles in gelb sehe ich als kaum verständlich für Verbraucher an.

One thing they don't tell you (or perhaps know) about antidepressants is that you can and likely will continue to have the brain zaps later, even when you've stopped taking them for a while-- I'm talking months later. Not that antidepressants don't work- they can, and do. But just something to be prepared for.

For #ThrowbackThursday - a set of scanned photo prints from my 1997 visit at the Oberwolfach institute followed by some tourist time in Frankfurt. Apparently at the time I was more interested in photos of landscapes than of the other famous visitors at the workshop on Schubert varieties.

*The camera has an extremely odd sensor size of 850x984 (non-square pixels??!), and only RawTherapee (open source photo editing app) opened it up in the full stored resolution of 840x968 (sensors usually have a few more pixels than the highest resolution a camera can store, it's complicated).
I converted to TIFF and stretched in Photoshop to proper aspect ratio; then edited with CameraRaw.

Heute mal Pause bei Quarks für mich:
die Gewerkschaft ver.di ruft alle Beschäftigten des WDR zum Warnstreik auf: bis Freitag, dem 01.05. um 02:00 Uhr.
das Angebot des WDR: 0% für 2026 und je 2% für 2027 und 2028 - unter dem Vorbehalt der Anpassung des Rundfunkbeitrags. Fällt die aus, bietet der WDR für 2027 und 2028 nur je 1% an. Laufzeit 35 Monate, was in diesen sich schnell ändernden Zeiten fatal wäre.
Wir streiken gegen diese de-facto Gehalts- und Honorarkürzungen.

Ich habe von 1991 bis 1998 in Regensburg gelebt. In der Zeit war ich viel unterwegs auf Konzerten und Festivals der Regensburger Musik-Szene. Und habe von vielen Nachwuchsbands direkt am Konzert Tonträger gekauft. So gut wie nichts davon ist auf Streaming-Plattformen zu finden. Ein „Dauerbrenner“ aus der Zeit: das Album The Vernim Vermillion der Band Naked in Disguise (1997).
