Happy 4th anniversary of Van Ness BRT opening!
Who else was there with me? Remember all the crowds that rode the official first bus on April 1, 2022?

I'd forgotten Slow Streets used to have not just the "local traffic only" sign, but "road closed to through traffic" as well. Both gone now. Slow Streets got so watered down. (2022 photo)

Liniendiagramm zur kumulierten Anzahl an Balkonkraftwerken in Deutschland von 2018 bis 22.05.2026. Die Linie verläuft bis 2021 fast waagrecht und steigt ab 2022 zunehmend steil an. Ab 2023 zeigt sich ein starker Zuwachs, besonders deutlich ab 2024. Der aktuelle Höchststand liegt bei 1347447 registrierten Anlagen. Die Kurve deutet auf einen anhaltenden Boom hin.

Bis 2021 verläuft die Kurve fast waagrecht. Ab 2022 beginnt ein kontinuierlicher Anstieg, der ab 2023 deutlich steiler wird. Ab 2024 ist der Zubau stark beschleunigt. Hey Seattle/Portland friends.
Look out for information about this missing person. She was found, nearly dead, in the water near Vancouver BC in 2022. She died the next day, unidentified.
New analysis of pollen on her clothing indicates she might have just arrived to BC from the Seattle or Portland areas.
Apparently BC RCMP will be doing a news conference in the USA in the near future to try to find anyone who might recognize her.

Balkendiagramm zur monatlichen Anzahl der errichteten Balkonkraftwerke in Deutschland von 2018 bis 10.03.2026. Seit Mitte 2022 ist ein starker Anstieg zu erkennen, mit Spitzenwerten von über 60.000 Neuanlagen pro Monat im Jahr 2024. Der Zubau fällt 2025 etwas ab, bleibt aber auf hohem Niveau.

Ein Streudiagramm zeigt die Entwicklung der Bruttoleistung (kWp) von Balkonsolarkraftwerken in Deutschland ab 2018. Jeder orange Punkt steht für eine Anlage. Die meisten Anlagen liegen unter 2 kWp, mit Ausreißern bis über 30 kWp. Die Anzahl und Leistung steigen ab 2022 deutlich an und sind anscheinend mit Inkrafttreten des „Solarpaketes“ am 16. Mai 2024 auf 2 kWp begrenzt.
