I'm curious - what San Francisco media has covered this? Admittedly something I have not been looking for. But a quick search doesn't find many news articles - but it appears to be a nationwide problem. Sure, FDA has published their alert (2022) but that's not a great tool to reach people who need to know about risks.

I don't actually think there's an obligation (in the UK) for ISPs or AI companies to block content from sanctioned entities.
ISPs have an obligation to block "an internet service provided by a designated person" and a "person who provides a social media service" must take "reasonable steps to prevent content...". But AI services aren't ordinarily social media services.

Big thanks to @… for having me on his podcast. While I never actually went to Ottawa (though I have visited!), it has been quite a journey since landing on the Fedi in 2022.
The struggle continues to try to get our Canadian politicians to understand that *they* will drive viewers no matter what platform they're on.
