I've updated (mostly culled) my list of Milwaukee Mastodon users.
This list used to be over 80 people, but the vast majority only posted in 2022/2023. A few straggled into 2024. I removed anyone who hasn't posted more than once in 2025.
It kind of sucks, but meh... it is what it is.
Also, I should try to find more people. And, move this off of GitHub at some point.

Wir dachten natürlich, die Mineralölkonzerne hätten ihre Lektion gelernt, so traurig und auch enttäuscht, wie 2022 alle waren. Heute wissen wir, daß wir zuvor hätten nachfragen sollen, ob sie ihre Lektion tatsächlich gelernt haben. Aber das konnte Mitte April ja noch niemand ahnen.

Over the weekend, I read Rebecca Campbell's Arboreality (2022). It's an enthralling novella about climate catastrophe, community, and collaboration with the natural world. Heute vor 4 Jahren: Am 14. April 2022 sank das russische Kriegsschiff #Moskva nach ukrainischen Beschuss. Laut ukrainischen Angaben war die Moskva in der Lage, #Atomsprengköpfe zu tragen und hatte zum Zeitpunkt ihres Untergangs möglicherweise zwei Atomsprengköpfe bei sich gehabt.

Canadian inventors have vastly improved every day life. Consider the innovations that global citizens are now thankful for: the telephone, basketball, snowmobiles, Imax movies, hockey, canoes, bras, insulin, zippers, paint rollers, athletic support, and poutine. Sorry we're so awesome.
Now an invention by a Dartmouth emergency physician in 2022 has made it easier for emergency rooms to safely remove rings from fingers. Previously doctors and nurses would have relied on tools from hardware stores with all the scary moments a patient could experience. "You might want to look away while I do this...". A serendipitous meeting at a medical tradeshow will likely give the invention an added boost.

Certaines dépenses, connues et récurrentes, n’avaient pas été budgétisées. Jusqu’en 2022, Pascal Broulis, avait l’habitude de ne pas inscrire dans le budget certains coûts, pourtant effectifs, mais de les placer dans des annexes associées aux risques, tenues secrètes aux yeux de la majorité des élus du Grand Conseil alors qu’ils auraient dû en être informés pour pouvoir voter le budget en toute connaissance de cause.
