Owning two Pixel phones running GrapheneOS made me both chuckle and tear up a little. It’s such an amazing operating system that I’m planning to start making monthly donations to support the project.
I had my Pixel 6a since early May 2023, but yesterday I upgraded to a Pixel 9a because the speakers and earpiece microphone on my 6a had started to fail badly, and the battery was showing its age.
I’m glad I made the upgrade, and now people can hear me clearly on the phone again.

In 2024 kwamen 316 duizend immigranten naar Nederland. Dat waren er 19 duizend minder dan het jaar ervoor. Zowel de immigratie uit EU-landen als uit overige landen was lager dan in 2023, het aantal immigranten met de Nederlandse nationaliteit bleef gelijk. Vooral het aantal kennismigranten dat van buiten de EU naar Nederland kwam daalde. Dat meldt het CBS op basis van recente cijfers.

Neulich kam im TV die DC Comic­verfilmung The Flash von 2023.

Fermi-GBM Observations of GRB 230307A: An Exceptionally Bright Long-Duration Gamma-ray Burst with an Associated Kilonova
On March 7th, 2023 the \textit{Fermi} Gamma-ray Burst Monitor observed the second highest fluence gamma-ray burst (GRB) ever, GRB~230307A. With a duration beyond 100~s, GRB~230307A contains a multitude of rapidly-varying peaks, and was so bright it caused instrumental effects in the GBM detectors. The high fluence of this burst, (6.02 $\pm$ 0.02)$\times$10$^{-3}$ erg cm$^{-2}$, prompted rapid follow-up across the electro magnetic spectrum including the discovery of an associated kilonova. The Galactic transient black hole candidate (BHC) MAXI~J1834-021 was detected for the first time by MAXI/GSC on February 05, 2023 and it was active for next $\sim 10$~months. A monotonic evolution of low-frequency QPOs from higher to lower frequencies is observed in the middle-phase of the outburst. We study this evolution of the QPO with the propagating oscillatory shock (POS) model, and it suggests the presence of a receding shock.
