Oh wow. It looks like I last used HaikuOS for real in 2023 judging by screenshots, but holy moly, it's come a long way since. Typing this from my LibreWolf with extensions running and everything. There are minor issues with some of these Wayland/GTK ports, but they are absolutely usable. And lots of software has shown up in HaikuDepot since last time. I just wish sound was working on my hardware so this could be a fully viable desktop for me.

We determine the Lebesgue measure and Hausdorff dimension of various sets of real numbers with infinitely many partial quotients that are both large and prime, thus extending the well-known theorems by Łuczak (1997) and Huang-Wu-Xu (2020). To this end, we obtain new asymptotics on the tail end of the almost prime zeta function. Our results include some recent work by Schindler-Zweim{ü}ller (2023).

Over the last couple of weeks I introduced you to our homeless stray cat Cinderella and her descendants Nele, Nepomuk and Nera. Today I'll show you the last one of our cats: say hello to Kasimir. He was also homeless, found by my brother 12 years ago. He moved together with us, when we relocated from Bavaria to the north-eastern corner of Germany in December 2023. Living alone with us for 10 years, it took a while until he became friend with the stray cats family.
