We generalize Gozinta Boxes to other dimensions, and we show that in three and higher dimensions, the maximum number of boxes is 3, and in two dimensions, the maximum is 4. On a Question of Poltoratski
We study half-line discrete Schrödinger operators and their rank-one perturbations. We establish certain continuity and stability properties of the Fourier transform of the associated spectral measures. Using these results, we construct a sparse potential whose essential spectrum contains an open interval, and show that for every rank-one perturbation the corresponding spectral measure is non-Rajchman. This resolves a question posed in [24].

We examine the size of $\boldsymbol{\nabla} \boldsymbol{\cdot} \mathbf{B}$ and outer surface boundary integrals in estimating the surface magnetic field from magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulations. Maxwell's equations tell us $\boldsymbol{\nabla} \boldsymbol{\cdot} \mathbf{B}$ = 0, which may be violated due to numerical error.
