This should be fun. I just got a FedEx ship notice for a package arriving in the next couple of days.
The shipper is listed as Digi-Key.
But my last DK order was back in November. The invoice number on the order doesn't show up in my order history. And I searched my order history back to April and found no backorders.
So this is either a backorder from the Stone Age or somebody bought me a Christmas present.
Either way it'll be a surprise lol.

Spent the morning deal with the US Gov't - sheesh.
We had to update our SAM registration - most people have never had to deal with the US Gov't's procurement system and dueling systems of regulations (FARs vs DFARs), not to mention its decades obsolete industrial and product classification codes. What a mess!!! What a massive burden for a small company!! (And, of course, the Feds update things in disruptive ways.)
Then I had to deal with renewing my passport and ha…

A new study has found that
eating 50 grams (1.76 ounces) or more of high-fat cheese a day
correlates with a lower risk of developing dementia.
That includes all cheeses with more than 20 percent fat content,
like brie, gouda, cheddar, parmesan, gruyere, and mozzarella.
The extensive, long-term study followed 27,670 adults in Sweden for around 25 years.
The findings establish an association between daily consumption of high-fat cheese
and lower demen…

A: "I don't understand how you're so relaxed when you don't hear from the kids. Everyone in my family is like, 'msg me right when you get home!'"
me: "Ah, [13yo] is fine. He went home and is 100% watching videos when he's not supposed to be, hoping we forgot about him so that he can get away w/ as much screen time as he can. If he were stuck on the subway or something, he'd have messaged. Actually, I'd be more worried if he DID message.&qu…

me: Did you make it home?

13yo: yes
