If my bio didn’t make it obvious, I’m an anarcho-syndicalist who’s bisexual, gender-fluid, and autistic!

The image features a flag divided diagonally into two equal parts, with the top half in red and the bottom half in black. In the center of the flag, there is a white infinity symbol, which is a continuous loop resembling the number 8 on its side. The infinity symbol is bold and stands out against the contrasting background colors. The red and black sections of the flag are evenly split, creating a striking visual effect. The overall design is simple yet powerful, with the infinity symbol servin…
The image shows two flags displayed on a windowsill. On the left is a flag with horizontal stripes in the colors pink, red, white, purple, black, and blue, representing the transgender pride flag. On the right is a smaller flag with the traditional rainbow colors, symbolizing LGBTQ+ pride. Both flags are mounted on wooden poles. In the background, there is a view of a residential area with houses and a cityscape in the distance. A potted plant is visible on the windowsill, adding a touch of gre…
The image is an infographic titled "What's in a Flag? Bisexual Flag" for Pride Month. It features the bisexual flag, which consists of three horizontal stripes: pink at the top, purple in the middle, and blue at the bottom. The flag is designed by Michael Page and was unveiled in December 1998. The infographic explains that the flag was created to represent and increase visibility of bisexuals in the LGBT community and society as a whole.

Fire from The Atlantic.
#USPol #Tariffs

Because Lesotho’s citizens are too poor to afford most U.S. exports, while the U.S. imports $237 million in diamonds and other goods from the small landlocked nation, we have reserved close to our highest-possible tariff rate for one of the world’s poorest countries. The notion that taxing Lesotho gemstones is necessary for the U.S. to add steel jobs in Ohio is so absurd that I briefly lost consciousness in the middle of writing this sentence.

Content warning: NZPol, Regulatory Standards Bill Submission

Just made my second submission on this horrible bill. That this Gov't is pursuing it is certainly not to its credit. I'm recommending a swift, decisive death for it, 'cause that neoliberal Atlas-Network-prescribed nasty dog won't hunt. Our society, including tangata whenua, deserves far better.
I'll post it somewhere soon, in case it's of interest to someone else wanting to make a submission.

Content warning: Spiders and Titanic: The Oddest Pairing You Didn’t See Coming

Warning for anyone scared of spiders or the Titanic wreck!
Spiders used to terrify me so much I couldn’t even sleep. I overcame it by doing what they call exposure therapy, just googling spiders and looking at pictures until it felt less scary. Now, I actually want to own a tarantula as a pet, which is kind of funny.
Something I’m even more scared of is the Titanic wreckage. It’s a oddly specific weird fear, but I think it’s a specific kind of Submechanophobia, where the fear is …

Close-up macro photo of a jumping spider on a bright green leaf. The spider’s body is covered in fine light-brown and grey hairs, giving it a fuzzy look. Its large, iridescent purple and red jaws stand out, facing forward. Two big, bright green eyes add an almost alien appearance. The spider’s thick, hairy legs have dark tips. The background is softly blurred green and blue, focusing attention on the spider’s detailed features. The image shows the spider’s beauty up close without being threaten…
The photograph shows a section of the wrecked RMS Titanic on the ocean floor, focusing on rusted and corroded railings and deck structures. Marine growth like sea anemones, sponges, and small white invertebrates cover the metal, creating a textured surface in rusty orange, brown, and grey-white tones. The railing is twisted and broken, with a dark sea fan-like organism attached.

The scene is dark and somber, surrounded by deep ocean gloom. It evokes a strong sense of decay, time passing, and n…
