The way for transportation agencies to celebrate Bike to Work Day is by announcing how their infrastructure will be made easier & safer to bike on. Not by telling others to bike on their hostile & unsafe infrastructure.

I dreamt last night that I was in Glasgow for a concert and a massive power failure occurred. There was no electricity and all electronics were fried - radio, phones, internet, nothing working except some very old cars with no electronic systems.
We heard rumours that either the Earth had been hit by an EMP pulse from a cosmic event, or maybe this was more local and was caused by a weapon of some kind.
Police were out on horseback telling us to stay calm but had no info. /1

Went to bed with a case of food poisoning and woke up to my phone telling me my heart rate and breathing rate were higher than normal. (Which, of course, since I didn’t sleep well, but it’s wild to see the numbers immediately like that)
