I like the Steam Deck but I still hold a grudge against Valve.
In their TOS their stuff against VPNs, I think they are 100% ignorant of that gamers DO ACTUALLY ddos each other so forbidding VPNs is VERY STUPID and puts people in danger!
I mean just take the game Rust...some team was gonna go online to defend their base but they got DDOSed so they couldn't participate in fair play! If they used VPNs... they would be saved!

So, my Valve Index arrived. As you may know, it officially supports Linux.
It works, sort of, but dear god what a mess that was to get working.
Within the span of one evening, I have seen it all: GPU freezing, failing to aquire a DRM lease, firmware updates crashing, latency, and some weird swap chain flickering issue.
It works, though. On Linux. And I have a plethora of paths to get it perfect. This weekend will be awesome.

Pond plumbing dilemna. Any plumbers out there?
The pond will have two strong pumps moving water through the bog filter and around the pool.
One pump will be dedicated to the filter (long black pipe).
The 2nd pump will split duty between the filter and providing water for 3 to 5 emitters in the bottom of the pool and around the edges.
The main piping is black 2” flexible pipe plus some PVC Sched40.
Plumbing Question: Should I reduce diameter once (as pictured badly lol) when branching from the mainline and then have valves for each and long runs of smaller 3/4 or 1/2" line to each sprayer.
Or keep it to 2" throughout and reduce at the outlets?
I would rather have the valve controls centralized than have them spread about where the sprayers are (obv not an option for the bottom ones anyway)
