Today is International Surfing Day, the 3rd Saturday in June, that celebrates a lifestyle that is over 5,000 years old. Canada is not known for its surfing locations, but Tofino, British Columbia, would be our surf capital of the country. Despite our long coastline, there may be a few thousand surfers in Canada versus over 4 million skiers who prefer the frozen version.
