I have set Google Maps as default navigation ap.
I have removed Apple Maps completely.
When I click an address in Calendar, it errors out: "No Navigation App Installed".

I then remembered my free Nextcloud account at Tab Digital and ... there's an IMAP client. Added my work calendar as well, so I can quickly get an overview. I wish I could hook up my Filen storage to Nextcloud, as I already have documents there. It may be possible, but if it is, I haven't found where to do it yet.

Calendar apps should let individuals rename shared events for themselves, without renaming the event for all the invitees. If I have coffee with Sally, the same event should be named “Paul coffee” for Sally and “Sally coffee” for me.
Do any calendar clients out there do this? It seems so obvious. Am I just missing it?

Congratulations to YDS Professor Volker Leppin, who is receiving an honorary degree from United Lutheran Seminary on May 23! Today is National Toast Day, like you didn't have it circled on your fake holiday calendar. Canadians consume approximately 1.4 billion kilograms of #Bread annually which sounds like a lot until you compare us with Turkey where per capita consumption is almost 200 kilos annually. Bread consumption in Canada was down slightly in 2025, attributed to higher prices due to tariffs. But home baking and shopping at local bakeries all increased. Healthier bread options also increased their market share as customers opted for high-fibre ingredients and foods enriched with prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics... and a bunch-of-other-otics. It may be good news that there are plenty of gut-friendly options available in the shape of whole grain and rich-in-fibre bakery products, but IMO a lot of them taste like cardboard. I said it... not sorry...
