Holy Shit, someone just made a YouTube short for my new about to be favorite Cyberpunk 2077 mod:

we mapped 38ha in the local residential area, in total we found 410 cameras, with about 80-90% of those being ring or similar doorbell cameras. all of these pointing at the public sidewalks, all completely illegal. there is no way in this 'hood to move around without being tracked. people don't deserve the GDPR.
I imagine Bezos sitting at home and doing real-time tracking of individuals just based on facial recognition running on AWS.

I've been playing more cyberpunk lately on the steam deck. I really like that game.
Just thought this was kinda neat discussion on the work the put into the slang in Cyberpunk 2077

i completely missed this! Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate now available for the Mac!
I'm downloading now but it's going to take a day or two!
Played all the way through on Google Stadia and it was superb! I still have the game controller Stadia gave me for free so might even use that - has been patched to work with my Mac.
@… draw for me A sleek, futuristic data vault glowing with neon blue lights, filled with holographic memory chips and floating digital documents, surrounded by a dark cyberpunk cityscape, ultra-detailed, high-tech aesthetic, cinematic lighting.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a car game
I decided to be properly cyberpunk, my bar for Neotropolis needs exhaust fans on the outside. To be cinematic, the fan should turn pointlessly slow.
I bought a fan with a speed controller. It seem to use 5V PWM. Sending my own PWM, ~8% is the lowest speed. Below that it shuts off. But I want slower still.
I'm surprised this isn't a brushed DC motor or universal motor - it uses a BLDC motor.
I suspect the easiest route will be replacing with a
Trying out this #deckbuilder on #Steam called Into The Grid - very much my aesthetic and tastes - cyberpunk of the deck/grid runner flavor - runs natively on macOS, which is very nice! Some pretty slick animation. We'll see how it goes re: gameplay. Definitely pleasing to look at so far, though there's a few visual glitches I'll be reporting as bugs.

1/2: Someone at YouTube asked me if the 3080 Ti would work with FSR 4 INT8 in Cyberpunk 2077, and the answer is yes, it'll work - I tested this with my old GTX 1650 4Gb GDDR6, and the image improves drastically compared to FSR 2 and 3 and XeSS. Note: The FPS are worse even on FSR 4 Ultra Performance compared to native (1080p), but it works and it looks good.
Today was peak cyberpunk - the good one: with raves, a whole lotta punk, and cyber, with a myriad of colorful creatures dancing in the lights, lasers and fog against technocracy, fascism and all the dystopia that is there rest of the year around us. But tonight we all were the future from long ago, tonight we were #39c3
Can I please please please live in a world that joints the few good stuff of cyberpunk (bodymods, high-tech, techy implants and hotswappable bodyparts, full selfidentification, sex-positivity, etc) into a solarpunk anarchist world?
Pleeeeeease I want to have open hardware and open source brain implants and bodyparts made by hacky cute girls and no capitalist bullshit ![]()
I wore my Owl head and cyberpunk jacket for the Halloween party at #supercon and a bit Saturday night too. Though I had to keep taking it off to speak to people. At some point I need to add a speaker like those used for some storm trooper helmets.
Something to look forward to in the new year! #Newromancer

Man, the writing in Cyberpunk 2077 is so ON, in places.
A “mission” where you’re supposed to find something that a friend who died cares about for an Ofrenda.
In addition to the item you find in his garage…
You bring his _partner_, who his mother has kind of…spurned
Someone he really cared about
Cyberpunk 2077 will be my Black Friday Bunker. I'm hiding in Night City for a few days at least.
Loving it 2nd time through as well!
