I was walking the dogs along our normal route when a Chihuahua started following me. They followed me the entire way home. I wasn't terribly sure what to do with that. I've enjoyed Michael Madsen in films ever since I first saw Reservoir Dogs, probably when I was 13 or 14, right after it came out. And then in Species, Sin City, Kill Bill- and the most recent Madsen thing I've seen, The Hateful Eight, from 10 years ago. And he was in 8 movies last year, and 4 still upcoming! Truly one of our time's greatest actors, and amazing right up to the end. He'll be missed. RIP

Ugh. The rain that was supposed to stop imminently, well, it intensified instead. At one point, I could hardly open my eyes. So I decided not to go with HR zone 2 training tonight and just get it done.

Last Sunday, the three of us went for a small hike in a natural reserve and came across a black dog that seemed to still be a puppy. The park rangers we talked to asked us if we'd be willing to take her in, as packs of wild dogs tend to become an issue for the wildlife.
We slept on it for a night & decided to go for it. Since Monday, Ohana is a big sister for Nina. Both seem to be adapting well to their respective changes in life circumstances. Guess I'll have to make a website for Nina too 🥰
