Hmmm something has changed on Google Play Books ... I can no longer download the books I've purchased.

See another example of #AI making #Google #Search worse:
Tesla has not reported second quarter earnings. That second quarter only ended yesterday, it takes weeks to do the books.

Oh great, now I can’t trust the emails from #Google not to change between readings.
One of the reasons I value email is for the ability to store what’s been said at a point in time and refer back to it knowing it will not change, kind of like, books or letters.

Very excited about this! Code to access GRIN will help lots of Google Books partners, and the example might open other doors, as well as the obvious benefits of access to data!

"I don't want to talk about those things. I see the worst in people, Henry. I don't need to look past seeing them to get all I need. I've built up my hatreds over the years, little by little... I can't keep doing this on my own... with these, umm... people."

Sunday reading. A long-form essay on the Rise and Fall of the Author. I won't hide the link today so it'll be shadow-banned across social media. Well, what else is new? Except that this should either be a book or heavily edited down. So it goes.
