Cool - managed to move one of my Uptime Kumas from Sqlite3 to MariaDB... and I created 2 additional instances so I could split up my concerns among the responsible entities (relevant companies/communities). It's impressive software, though I think it'd be cool if it supported user accounts (currently there's just scope for a single account on each instance). That's being explored...

Likely violating the UN Charter (article 2(4), article 51) and the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (article 88, article 90), and possibly the Geneva Conventions, Additional Protocol I as well, the United States killed 87 Iranian sailors over 1,000 miles from Iran.
Unclear if the United States even attempted to rescue any of the 32 survivors rescued by the Sri Lankan Navy and Air Force.

My intention is that memory will be considered as an array of 64 bit words.

Each word may be considered as

2. a single object64, having one mark bit, seven tag bits, and 56 payload bits.

Since my job is stable now and I have saved up some money, I have decided to stop accepting donations via GitHub Sponsors and Ko-fi. I would like to thank everyone who helped me over the years. There are people who need the help much more than me right now.

To the best of my knowledge, Gentoo project does not need extra money right now, but there are other awesome projects such as Disroot or many Fediverse instances that would definitely use some help. However, in general I'd suggest towards supporting individuals rather than projects: people need money to live, and can use your donations directly, while projects are often bound by red tape.
Finally, please support human artists and craftspeople (and I'm counting human software developers in that). Donate to projects and people who resist enshittification and who refuse to use LLMs. They need the money.
Once again, thanks for all.

More specifically, it appears this bot farm has now come for my Mastodon instance, because the number of requests has doubled in the last 24 hours, with a lot of the requests being API requests for a single JSON file.
Even more specifically, looking at data provided by my CDN provider, a lot of the bots appear to be using IP addresses associated with Tencent Singapore.

So, with the Discord thing rn I guess teh closest we have to an alternative is like Zulip? Except it's more self-hosted focused.
So, is anyone around here hosting a Zulip (or other real, feature-complete, discord alternative that I don't know yet) instance open to (or even better, focused on) small-ish kink communities?
I have some friends on discord that I really wanted to migrate somewhere else.
I thought about hosting one in my NAS, but even if cgnat wasn't a thing actively moderating porn-focused places seems like a nightmare so I'd want something hosted by someone with a bit more experience on that such as moderating fedi servers or something. I guess some people who host fedi instances probably also host chat rooms right?
