First Light is a special event worth celebrating for any camera or telescope. This time it's both, with a Dwarf Mini smart telescope. Taken from a parking lot, I sat it on the roof of the car and started configuring/capturing.
The image is Pleiades, a star cluster 444ly from earth. While I only had about 5 minutes exposure time, it was a good #firstlight

Wenn die #CDU glaubt, ein Denkmal für Lübke sei eine Instrumentalisierung gegen sie, dann haben sie einfach NICHTS verstanden. Dabei geht es nicht mehr um irgendein politisches Kleinklein. Und auch die "Ätsch doofe CDU" - Rufer haben nichts verstanden.

Yes, they are even bragging about it.

But - besides the environmental insanity and the theft - it's doubtful it will even work out economically. I doubt they can get a return on what they'd need to invest any more. They'll need to plunder more than oil.

More of the edging, most of the handles, many of the holes I asked for are there so cables can get where they need to. They've been painting a bit and varnishing a bit and the coving is prepared for the gap above the windows there.
One more day, they say. One more day. I'll have to make a list of everything still to be done over the weekend.
