@aral@mastodon.ar.al Israel had already declared what it was going to do. This was bound to occur. About baby formula, food and medical supplies, the Palestine authority should step up and handle it. Gaza strip had zero Israel troops prior to 7-Oct-2023. It had hospitals, schools and electricity. Now significant portion of Gaza is rubble and it is crawling with Israeli troops. The loosers are people on both sides. How many classes have children of Gaza missed? Was Oct 7 worth it?

Seventeen countries plus the European Union and Arab League threw their weight behind a seven-page text agreed at a United Nations conference on reviving the two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians. "In the context of ending the war in Gaza, Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority, with international engagement and support, in line with the objective of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State," said the declaration.
