A description of classical field equations using extensions of graded Poisson brackets
As it is well-known, Poisson brackets play a fundamental role both in mechanics and in classical field theories. In this paper we develop a theory of extensions of graded Poisson brackets in graded Dirac manifolds. We then show how these extensions can be used to obtain the field equations of a particular theory as well as the evolution of forms of arbitrary order, in a similar way that ordinary Poisson brackets provide in mechanics.

In this paper, we consider Lie algebroids over commutative ringed spaces. Lie algebroids over ringed spaces unify the existing notion of Lie algebroids over smooth manifolds, complex manifolds, analytic spaces, algebraic varieties, and schemes. Wavelet based solutions to the Poisson and the Helmholtz equations on the $n$-dimensional unit sphere
We present a method of solving partial differential equations on the $n$-dimensional unit sphere using methods based on the continuous wavelet transform derived from approximate identities. We give an explicit analytical solution to the Poisson equation and to the Helmholtz equations. For the first one and for some special values of the parameter in the latter one, we derive a closed formula for the generalized Green function.
