100% this - I get caught out by this a lot (even in the fediverse).

We are flying to Germany in 2 weeks. It's a redeye. I’m very tempted to show up in pajamas for the flight. If it were domestic, I would for sure do it. These were images that were projected onto the walls of a courtyard near The Ruby Lissi hotel in Vienna.
The scenes kept changing and there we colorful lasers at various times across the top of the courtyard.
Recorded music was playing. It wasn’t discordant, but it wasn’t a tune either. More like a symphony warning up.
The music drew us into the courtyard. We thought we were going to see a live concert.

Several years ago we had smoky pies and rolls for Thanksgiving because we put off cleaning the ovens until it was too late.
I created a recurring Todoist task to clean the ovens on the 3rd Sunday of November. Ever since then we’ve had pristine ovens and smoke free cooking every Thanksgiving.
Collette appreciates that a holiday for which most of the tasks are hers, she doesn’t have to worry and the ovens are ready to go.

When a hotel accepts a reservation from an international traveler, it would be fantastic if they would place an electrical adapter or two in the room for the guests to allow them to easily connect their electronics.
I realize this would probably create some liability for the hotel should the guest’s electronics get fried, and also some guest would knowingly or unknowingly take them when they leave.
Still, it would be fantastic.

It was approaching time to renew my Global Entry Membership. One of the questions required for renewal was to list the countries I’ve been to since 2020.
Each country visited had to be selected from a list. The UI was excellent. I could type a substring and the options would be limited to countries containing that substring ✅. I couldn’t find Turkey. Searched Tu, scrolled the unfiltered list no Turkey.
WHY?
