I'm 58, prime gammon age. Fortunately, I was educated by the Marxist Jesuits known as The Militant in the '80s.
So, when I see gammons my age, I know them. They were those weird kids "not into politics" in the '80s. THE '80s - Thatcher and Reagan '80s.

It is July and the best film of the year is still IMHO* Companion.
If you don't mind blood you should check it out. Best not to know anything else though I sort of knew too much but still really loved it.
*The H stands for "humble" (not "honest" though in this case I am) but it actually means that I am arrogant.
