Apache Flink is uniquely positioned to serve as the backbone for AI agents, equipping them with the powerful new tool of stream processing. Join Steffen Hoellinger at this year's Berlin Buzzwords to explore how Flink jobs can be transformed into “Agents”—autonomous, goal-driven entities that dynamically interact with data streams, trigger actions, and adapt their behaviour based on real-time insights.

It seems that chatting with AIs can either cause or trigger psychotic episodes
Please be careful. My suggestion, if you're using AI frequently, would be to tell someone you trust that you're using AI frequently, ask them to keep an eye on you, and even allow them to access your chat log.

She’s right, you know.
We don’t need a general solution for how we accommodate trans kids in sports. It can be handled on a case by case basis. It’s being hypothesized into absurd scale to trigger reaction. There’s no “catastrophe” possible. There are a few dozen specific cases and they are different enough that they should be handled independently.
The details in real cases always seem to argue in favor of the trans kid’s choice.

The joy of trying to get the Z-axis endstop sensor to work, only to find out it's compiled in firmware as the probe and not documented anywhere.
So Z-endstop is not supported, but I can do autofokus by plugging the endstop and it will trigger the probe. The probe pin however dies nothing.
And though it's "open source", I can't find any documentation of how it is configured and compiled.
FluidNC would solve it all, but it doesn't work with esp32 …

Is it a way to make it work like code assist? Basically trigger it with a shortcut.
I don’t want it turned on all the time spewing text right in front of what I write.

We implemented a major new feature in the AIL Project that addresses a long-standing issue related to the collection of images or screenshots that may be harmful to analysts (e.g., violent content, CSAM, etc.). The feature allows users to trigger the description of an image before actually viewing it.
The feature will be included in the upcoming release of AIL (version 6.2).
This work is co-funded in the AIPITCH project. We would like to thank Qwen for the open source Qwen2-VL vi…

I have a relatively new #ASUS ProArt13 laptop where I still have a #Microsoft #Windows installation so I can keep upgrading its firmware (I planned removing it once I have a stable #Linux distro with kernel >= 6.14).
I'm surprised by how unstable it is. Just leaving it doing nothing for more than 10 minutes is enough to trigger a #BlueScreenOfDeath (I can reproduce the issue). If I keep doing stuff, it does not crash.
At this point I'm not sure if it's Microsoft's fault or ASUS'... but I suspect the blame falls on Windows side (nothing like that happens on my Linux installation).
