RE: #fascism, especially American fascism, there's something you can do. If you're in the US, don't buy anything if you can until Dec 2nd. If you do have to buy something, buy second hand, or buy local. If you're outside, don't buy anything from the US or any US company at all.
Spread the word. Keep it on people's mind. Write your own post. Talk to people you know in person. Print out flyers and post them around town.
The system understands the language of money. If you want a response, you have to speak the language the system understands.
Trump is extremely vulnerable. Don't wait for the regime to recovery. Hit it hard right now, with an economic blockade. Who knows, it might just crumble.

The paradox of Nazism being both the most capitalist thing possible, defining itself as explicitly anticommunist, while masquerading as "socialism" is difficult to resolve until you understand one thing: fascism pivots around antisemitism (and its extension, conspiratorial thinking).
I'm, of course, not talking about the redefinition of "antisemitism" into meaning any criticism of Israel but rather an anti-Jewish conspiracy narrative rooted in Roman Christianity.
This is critical to understand as MAGA fascism pivots between capitalist and pseudo-anticapitalist with Trump in the middle. Hitler did the same thing. Strasserism helped the Nazis gain power by pulling in the Left. In the Nazis case they killed the Stasserists pretty quickly. Now, I think we're seeing an attempt to make the opposite pivot happen in MAGA. But it's all the same thing.
Fascism can infinitely fail to address the needs of the people while dismissing it's own responsibility for creating the problem by maintaining a permanent enemy.
This is why it's important to understand antisemitism and how to fight it. It's especially important now because the apparatus of violence in Israel is itself a tool of global fascism, and we finally have an opportunity to dismantle the whole thing. But we have to be aware of how fascists can pivot around to block this.
I've been reading Safety Through Solidarity, and I think it's especially relevant at this time.

So my car has been complaining I should put some exhaust emissions neutralizing fluid in it. A thing they call AdBlue I believe.
Bought a big 10l drum of the stuff ready to fill up.
But when I look at where I expect to find the hole for filling it, I just find a capped off tube and a warning sticker "See the GM Citreon Berlingo Blaze manual" for the adblue refilling hole.
Only user manual I have is the one telling me to expect it there.
The car was converted for wheelchair access at some point in its life. I think they are referring to the wheelchair-adaption manual, which the seller did not give me.
🤔
Have been looking around the car as much as I can for a couple of hours this morning to no avail. Where have they hidden this hole to fill up adblue?
Maybe it's under the engine or something now and you have to put the thing on stilts to find it?
🤷
Asked my mechanic about it and he says to bring it in on Monday. Gonna be a pain if I have to rip up the floorboards or something every year to refill that.

“We lead by love. This is community. We send no orders, there’s no orders out here, just people defending each other. And we don’t need a f*cking gun to do it. We don’t need body armor to do it. We don’t need to beat up protestors, we don’t need to beat up fake news to do it. We show up, put our f*cking bodies on the line because we don’t f*ck with n*zis. Maybe one day, maybe one day, you can say the same. Community will welcome you back…”

Photographed by Khurram Janjua, M. D., a person out side the Broadview detention center, facing armed, violent crowd control troops, makes an impassioned request for the rule of law over the rule of violence, and implores the troops to return to the side not bringing weapons but bringing faith, asks them to not side with n*zis and instead rejoin their community on the side of righteousness and Justice.

Picture the human body. Zoom in on a single cell. It lives for a while, then splits or dies, as part of a community of cells that make up a particular tissue. This community lives together for many many cell-lifetimes, each performing their own favorite function and reproducing as much as necessary to maintain their community, consuming the essential resources they need and contributing back what they can so that the whole body can live for decades. Each community of cells is interdependent on the whole body, but also stable and sustainable over long periods of time.
Now imagine a cancer cell. It has lost its ability to harmonize with the whole and prioritize balance, instead consuming and reproducing as quickly as it can. As neighboring tissues start to die from its excess, it metastasizes, always spreading to new territory to fuel its unbalanced appetite. The inevitable result is death of the whole body, although through birth, that body can create a new fresh branch of tissues that may continue their stable existence free of cancer. Alternatively, radiation or chemotherapy might be able to kill off the cancer, at great cost to the other tissues, but permitting long-term survival.
To the cancer cell, the idea of decades-long survival of a tissue community is unbelievable. When your natural state is unbounded consumption, growth, and competition, the idea of interdependent cooperation (with tissues all around the body you're not even touching, no less) seems impossible, and the idea that a tissue might survive in a stable form for decades is ludicrous.
"Perhaps if conditions were bleak enough to perfectly balance incessant unrestrained growth against the depredations of a hostile environment it might be possible? I guess the past must have been horribly brutal, so that despite each tissue trying to grow as much as possible they each barely survived? Yes, a stable and sustainable population is probably only possible under conditions of perfectly extreme hardship, and in our current era of unfettered growth, we should rejoice that we live in much easier times!"
You can probably already see where I'm going with this metaphor, but did you know that there are human communities, alive today, that have been living sustainably for *tens, if not hundreds of thousands of years*?

Easy Delivery Co (PC)
Get in your Kei truck and chill out, literally, making deliveries to mountain towns in the middle of winter. Can you figure out what's going on around here?
This game performed extremely well on my Garuda Linux PC, without having to use any compatibility tools. In fact the only "complaint" I might have is the achievements never popped. I don't care about those, so it's not a big deal, but something to note perhaps.

When you beat the later levels, Linux restarts the whole game over but in hard mode. Sure, I've installed MySQL on Debian before, but this time around there's extra challenges - like the GPG signature on <dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.4/e

"BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK", and then a bunch of random text that is aligned to look like a square of text. Except the first line of the square has an extra character, messing up the look of the square.

Yeah lmao just tested and I don’t even need to reboot the console, just restart the game
Weight data and played days don’t seem to be moved tho, just the rankings
(I do have an even older nnid account that I don’t use anymore, tho that has a different name (just “oldaccound” now) and it didn’t steal any saves)
(I don’t really remember if when moving to Pretendo I moved the mii and created a new similar one for the old account or if it was the other way around and I just created a similar mii to the new one)
(Back then I did try moving the save data between the accounts with a SaveMii, but it didn’t work for Wii Fit U (or for mk8, tho haven’t had issues with that one))

Several people are gathered around what seems to be someone who is lying down - possibly ill or injured. The setting has a historical atmosphere with period costumes, including a woman in a burgundy dress with gold detailing in the background, who is holding a candle that provides much of the scene's lighting.
