Most National Park Service sites will be “closed completely to public access”
during a government shutdown, according to the service’s contingency plan.
“Areas that by their nature are physically accessible to the public will face significantly reduced visitor services,”
according to the plan, which was published in March 2024.
It adds that the public will be asked not to visit national parks for the duration of a shutdown.

Google's security for Android is getting worse. They recently moved from monthly security updates to quarterly. Layoffs have slowed releases as well. Atop that, there are some easy fixes that they're just ignoring. There are only two secure mobile OSes: GrapheneOS and (secondarily) iOS.
