Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty on Friday in a federal case in relation to the killing of UnitedHealthcare executive Brian Thompson in 2024.
Mangione confessed that he shot and killed Thompson outside a New York City hotel on 4 December 2024.
In his federal case, he faced stalking charges, after other charges, including murder, were dropped.
“I shot Mr Thompson in Manhattan and he died,” Mangione said towards the end of a hastily scheduled, 45-minute hearing.

It'sage isn't relevant, as it talks about things that are unlikely to change: Your data is only yours if you also have it on physical media in your possession. (And stored there in open formats.)
Because services will come and go, promises will be forgotten, data loss will not cause more than a shy "sorry". Especially for free online services, but it also happens for paid services.

On May 2, 2024, Arizona governor Katie Hobbs signed a bill to repeal a near-total abortion ban from 1864 that the Arizona Supreme Court had reinstated on April 9, 2024.
The ban was not enforced by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, and the repeal took effect on September 14, 2024.
As a result of 2024 Arizona Proposition 139, the Arizona constitution codifies legal abortion up to the point of fetal viability
