Ich hab heute erst von der Aktionswoche "Wissenschaft gegen Faschismus“ erfahren, die vom 1. bis 7. Juni stattfinden soll.

I've finally finished pushing the latest update for #Gentoo Distribution Kernels, and requested their stabilization. This includes upstream releases 7.0.9, 6.18.32, 6.12.90 and 6.6.140; and Gentoo patch bumps 6.1.173_p1, 5.15.207_p1 and 5.10.256_p1.
All of these contain the v5 #Fragnesia patch. And yes, while the exploit is in the wild, upstream still hasn't merged a fix to the mainline kernel, let alone all the LTS branches. Of course, the patch keeps covering more holes, but it would really be preferable to do that as a followup instead of leaving people vulnerable and forcing us to keep rebasing it.
They also include a few reverts in 6.18 and 6.6 for broken PowerPC backports that upstream didn't apparently test. 🤷
We're doing our best, but I'd still recommend running the latest 7.0.x kernel, or LTS 6.18.x, because upstream is far from reliable with the backports.

5 = Interrupts some activities
6 = Hardto ignore, avoid usual activities
7 = Focus of attention, prevents doing daily activities
8 = Awful, hard to do anything
9 = Can’t bear the pain, unable to do anything
10 = As bad as it could be, nothing else matters
10 is still pretty subjective there, but "nothing else matters" is clear enough, and really 9 or 10 isn't really a big difference in how much it matters clinically. (It tells the clinician if an intervention helps though)

After a bunch of iterating and simulation and getting pulled away for other things, I'm finally happy with the backside-fed ARF6 connector launch on the LATENTRED switch engine board.
Simulated return loss of the simple naive version (vias in pads, no ground cutouts or optimization) was around -10 dB return loss starting at 15 GHz and rising to -8.8 at 30 and -6 at 35.
Adding a cutout to the first ground layer improved this significantly, better than -15 dB to 33.8 GHz.
