This was one of the WOW moments during my hike recently. Until then i was walking through the woods. But this meadow greeted me with sunshine, flowers and the trail leading through it.
I took off my rucksack and tried to capture my first some photos.

My first attempt at growing sweet peas has yielded some flowers - a few, tiny, microscopic flowers; but still.
My spice bushes are getting there - one much faster than the other - the slower one was initially planted somewhere without enough light, and then I think got hastled by a dog a few times; they were both just sticks when they arrived (in April??)

A spice bush - lots of leaves - slightly nibbled - growing over a protective cage.
A rather smaller spice bush - leaves, but not as tall, still well inside it's mesh.
