Stefan Gloor hat herausgefunden, dass bei einer der weitverbreitesten Bezahlterminals in der Schweiz hinter einer einfachen Klappe eine serielle Schnittstelle lauert, mit der man ohne weiteres Zutun Root-Rechte (also volle Kontrolle) auf dem eingebauten Linux-Rechner erhält. (Trotzdem kann man damit noch keine Karten belasten, denn die Zahlungen laufen über einen zweiten Prozessor, der scheinbar gut geschützt ist.)
