For all the marketing advice LinkedIn MBAs come up with, a surprising number of people forget one of the most basic steps: The Middle Schooler Test.
The process is simple:
1) Place a sample of your brochure, website, etc. in front of a recently calibrated 12-year-old boy.
2) If they start giggling uncontrollably, identify and correct the source of their amusement. Return to step 1.
3) If they aren't particularly amused, move on with the campaign.

I think the term "post-AI" has so much power, are people using it much yet?
Just like postmodernism didn't reject everything about modernism, post-AI needn't throw out all AI.. But look beyond its dodgy ideals and hype to focus on other stuff.
We don't need AI institutes, AI art funding calls, AI panels etc, when AI is an over-hyped, all-encompassing, meaningless marketing term. We don't need to give airtime to nihilistic accelerationist weirdos behind AI…

When NVIDIA is talking about a “600 kW rack”, does this mean, one single rack will need 600 kW of electricity, or is this some 600 marketing kilowatts by just braindead adding up some specs to gain a number as big as possible? Why I'm asking: I'm electrical engineer trying to wrap my head around 600 kW for a single rack and the massive copper cables needed for this. Even with 800 V DC, we're talking about 750 amps. Per rack! 🤯
Or am I just missing something obvious?

Apparently there’s another influx of new folks here, so I guess I should give my best tidbit of advice:
You have to really actively seek out people to follow here, much more than you’re used to — and until you do, this place will feel •dead•. Cool stuff isn’t just going to show up. You won’t get many helpful suggestions. No tech giant marketing dept is spending millions to draw you in. It’s going to be •work•. It’s kind of a drag, tbh.
But: your people are out there!! You just have work to seek them out, one account at a time.

People went for the Pro instead of basic iPhone basically for the camera, no?
So people who want the better camera and just a normal phone now have… nothing.
