We report, {for the first time, the emergence of} a secondary bow with ripples in $^{12}$C+$^{12}$C nuclear rainbow scattering. This finding was achieved by studying the experimental angular distributions in $^{12}$C+$^{12}$C scattering at incident energies $E_L$= 240 and 300 MeV, utilizing an extended double-folding model. I'm standing in the middle of a shallow spot in the creek with ripples radiating away from my (just barely) unseen legs, to the left is a close outcropping of rock with a flat part that then rises up and gets covered with trees and on the other seen a thin layer of rock is visible and lots of trees, in the center of the frame the path curves out of sight first to the right and then to the left and the sky is mostly white cloud with just a little blue visible.

I went to Stewart Park this Sunday after the Ithaca 5 and 10 to make a 3-d scan of the lighthouse on the jetty which didn't work out but I did see these kayakers goings under this bridge.
