This was the Sierra Wireless AirCard 300 that enabled wireless dial-up remote access connectivity over CDPD networking on laptops at roughly 9600bps. Great for Outlook email or accessing small files over SMB.

Ones where I could answer the question as asked but it really implies a deeper misunderstanding. I feel like I want to write him a treatise on VPNs: what they are and how they work. And Cc his boss (who shares his surname…) to communicate the depth of the problem.
I’m letting my boss handle it. He’s the networking guy anyway…

@jamesthebard@social.linux.pizzaThe first MS-A2 node is up and it only took the entire day. After fixing a ton of networking issues across the homelab I've got all the VMs running on the new node. The old nodes have been decomissioned which kinda marks a milestone. Still need to get the other two new nodes into the cluster, but should be fairly straightforward and can wait until tomorrow.
