@… Yeah, that works less well. I’m running Nix for some stuff on Raspbian and you simply can’t do the good bits, such as managing services. So I use Ansible, begrudgingly.
Gonna get myself a little x86 box soon. The Pi was cool but ultimately a failure for me, specifically because of this.

We have booked a stay in a self-catering cottage in Gloucestershire for a week over the summer. We've just been sent the welcome pack and it reads a little bit like solving an old school adventure game.
There is a keysafe at the cottage - located on the left pillar of the porch when you walk up the path. The key safe code is XXXX.
Use the small key in here to open the wooden box on your left as you walk in to the porch. Inside that you will find a large key which is for the main door.
Please make sure you leave this key in the wooden box on your departure as this is the only key to the property.

We present a high-resolution radio-continuum view and a multi-frequency analysis of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) Supernova Remnant (SNR) J0450.4-7050, which we give the nickname Veliki. These high-resolution observations reveal a larger extent than previously measured, making J0450.4-7050 one of the largest SNRs that we know of. Additionally, we observe a higher than expected radio surface brightness and an unusually flat spectral index ($α= -0.26 \pm 0.02$), with little spectral variation…

I agree with pretty much everything you’ve said, and unfortunately, I think the real work is the grunt work, in this instance. There’s lots of little bits and they have to connect together.
