Called senator Husted (R-)Ohio and left him a voicemail. In addition to saying that he needed to vote no for the funding bill coming to the senate, I told him that his weasel words calling for both sides to be calm, and avoiding taking a stand, was equivalent to pissing off his wife to the point that he was afraid for his life and then telling -her- to calm down.
Make sure that you call your senators. If you can't call, write to them, but calls are taken more seriously.
