The story, set in British Columbia, bounces between loss and hope, suggesting that doing the hard work of building a new world from the ashes of the old is how one staves off despair and keeps hope alive.

Als ik kijk naar de energietransitie blijf ik toch vinden dat China overall het best heel slim heeft aangepakt.
Door eerst snel in schonere kolencentrales te investeren kregen ze letterlijk meer energie om de energietransitie te versnellen. En nu vormen de overgebleven (moderne) kolencentrales een backup.
Wel vervuilend, maar veel minder nodig.
En kolen zijn lang houdbaar.
