Got my power bill for May. Net consumption was 2.73 MWh, an all-time low by a signficant margin (3.3 MWh in April 2026, and 3.77 MWh in July 2024, are the previous records).
The final bill after taxes and fees was $595, not *quite* an all time low (I paid $582 in July 2024) but that was for 3.7 MWh and I'm now paying almost as much for 2.7 - yay rate increases. If I can generate a touch more solar in June I might break the all-time low though.

Gee, I guess to this judge, being dead is not a valid excuse to not appear at a hearing.
This judge is a Obama appointee - but she worked a Peoplesoft, a company that in my opinion seemed to follow a silicon valley tradition of management-by-brutality. Got the official power numbers from my utility for the April billing cycle.
3572 kWh imported from grid, 200 kWh overproduction exported, for net 3372 kWh consumed/billed.
That is an all-time record for lowest power consumption (at least back to January 2024 which is the oldest bill I have easy access to).
Too bad it's also an all-time *high* for price per kWh - the effective price per kWh after taxes and fees hit 21.7 cents, a 15.4% increase since the start of the year…
