My dryer is gaslighting me and it's not even gas powered, it's an electric heat pump dryer (edit: actually the washer is doing this not the dryer)
But i've been sitting down here for at least thirteen minutes watching the 7-segment display saying 0:01 remaining.

Adding 2 minutes to the 5 that Endo was down for a total of 7 minutes of stoppage time seems very charitable to the visiting side.

What a sad moment when the 24/7 #ArtemisII live stream was shut down at 2:20 UTC ...had it on almost, well, 24/7. ;-) Little consolation prize: the Artemis II Post-Splashdown News Conference in a few minutes on youtube.com/watch?v=Ir2X1-FjDxg

I don't exactly follow the Pomodoro Technique but because of my health issues I try to get up and move away from my desk every 20 minutes...
So I built a timer that literally locks me out of my computer when the time is up, forcing me to go away and take a break.
Lots of work to do the on firmware but for now it gets to 0, does a bunch of beeps to warn me, waits a few seconds, then types command-control-Q to lock the screen.

A small USB controller device with a 7 segment display.

We just spent two hours and six minutes with my daughter trying to throw 15 exact same strikes in a row, fast pitch softball. I was about to call it a day, the highest she got was 11 and then a bunch of 5-7 in a row. Two hours in I guess it was time to buckle down :)
The joy on her face when she finally did, she leapt and ran around like that little girl I used to see running around.
Now let's hope future ones will not take this long.

Almost forgot, #Sceptres won 2 - 0 versus the Seattle Torrent. Toronto was outplayed for the first few minutes but managed to score early in the 1st. It then became a goalie duel.
The Torrent poured on the pressure in the 2nd... get it... Torrent... poured on...
Toronto scored with 7 seconds left in the game when Seattle pulled their goalie. Very exciting game and the right team won.

Mirra Andreeva, the 18-year-old who surprised many by winning this event last year,
torched Solana Sierra of Argentina in 50 minutes
winning 6-0, 6-0.
She won 54 of the 75 total points.
Andreeva advances to play either Leylah Fernandez or Katerina Siniakova in the third round Monday.
Other top 10 women required a little more time on court Saturday.
No. 2 Iga Swiatek only had room for one bagel but then battled past Kayla Day 6-0, 7-6(2).
No. 3 Elena …

First Light is a special event worth celebrating for any camera or telescope. This time it's both, with a Dwarf Mini smart telescope. Taken from a parking lot, I sat it on the roof of the car and started configuring/capturing.
The image is Pleiades, a star cluster 444ly from earth. While I only had about 5 minutes exposure time, it was a good #firstlight
Note - included before/…

A dark shot with 7 points of light. It's a starfield, specifically, Pleiades, a star cluster 444ly from earth

Izzy thinks it’s too cold and the snow is too deep, even though a few minutes ago she was insisting that we needed to go on a walk. Got her down to the sidewalk, but we have 7 or 8 inches of snow and sleet is still coming down. She ran back up the stairs and stood on the porch shivering. #DogsOfMastodon

I hate when the Prevacid wears off without warning.
I get surprise reflux that makes my lungs & eustachian tubes burn. I cough & cough & cough. SWMBO comes running because she thinks I’m dying. I wish I was dying. I find my British* Gaviscon, chew a few tabs with a mouthful of water and gargle at length to try to splash something with a pH >7 on all the burning parts. Ultimately it takes ~10 minutes for my lungs to rev up the phlegm production enough to feel normal.
