Well, now I feel stupid. I finally figured out why, since upgrading to Debian 13/trixie, there are some websites I couldn't connect to, but only over IPv6, they work fine on their IPv4 address.
Fucking MTU.
I'd for a long time had an IPv4 iptables rule to force the MSS (maximum segment size) on outbound packets to `1400`. But I never put in an equivalent for IPv6.

For Canadian addresses, street address, city/town, postal code and province ARE NOT OPTIONAL fields. It is NOT acceptable to have province as part of the CITY name. Even where you have postal boxes there is an address for that.

Google Workspace bounced an email to my somebits email address. That stuff just forwards to my gmail account. I've learned two things today:
- Google's own forwarding of messages breaks DKIM and can cause email to be marked as spam just because of its own forwarding process
- Google leaked my gmail address in the bounce from the message sent to my somebits address. That's a major privacy violation!

RE LB: “Double Opt-In” isn’t really double. It’s 2-factor. Or mutual handshake, if you prefer. You ask to subscribe an address, and the sender emails you a request to confirm that before they send anything else.
There ARE other ways to handle subscriptions ethically, but they ALL include a mechanism confirmingin a reliable way that the user knows what they are asking for and is in control of the subscribed address.
