Turns out scones for one are totally possible! This one is an oat, honey, ginger situation and made the best start to a Monday ever! Bit proud of myself, because I had to adapt a recipe meant for much larger that was trying to make orange scones—quite different! Also, the air fryer is a wonderful contraption! I've just taken delivery of one of 2 door chimes that will be in our house. Pictures later, if I've got the energy, but it's so pretty! A very tactile, carved hummingbird and flowers above these chimes that make an absolutely gorgeous sound. There are little balls hanging down to make the chimes sound a bit more, similar to the way a door harp works, and we're getting a more traditional door harp later, but it feels a bit fairytale magic and I'm in love!

Hätte ja nicht gedacht, dass ich mich so sehr freuen würde, diesen warzigen kleinen Hintern wiederzusehen. Amphibert hat eindeutig wieder die Nachtaufsicht am #klexenhaus inne, auch heute isser da. 🤩
Hoffentlich hat auch seine letztes Jahr gegründete Familie den Winter überstanden.
