Claude Sonnet 4.0 describes the image as: "This image shows a scene from the classic British science fiction television series "Blake's 7" from the late 1970s/early 1980s. The setting appears to be the flight deck or control room of the alien spacecraft Liberator, recognizable by its distinctive curved architectural elements and control panels with a bronze/orange color scheme. Here’s my 35th “Long Links” outing, curation of long-form offerings, which assume that nobody has time to read all this stuff but one or two of the pieces might brighten your day. Let me convince you to grow anise hyssop (Agastache foeniculum). The flowers, which looked nicer last week (and on the plants I just harvested), are bright purple and are favorite of bees. But, IMHO, the leaves are the best part of the plant. Used fresh or dried they add a sweet anise flavor to black tea and they make really great ice cream too (akin to mint).
#gardening

A single anise hyssop plant against a wooden fence with other plants in the background. The flowers have faded from bright purple to gray - the seeds are on their way.
