My project that I completed yesterday. An old patio umbrella base, a fence post from a big box store, two old wall brackets for flower baskets, a couple of bird feeders that were on sale at CanTire, and a repurposed squirrel baffle. About $100 in total cost, not including the black oil seed. It's positioned right outside our sunroom for bifd watching, by us and our cat Casper.

Found a @… repost on #Imgur.

The image shows a circular arrangement of metal brackets and bolts on a sandy surface. The arrangement resembles the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge, with metal brackets standing upright in a circular pattern, some in silver and others in gold. The central area of the circle contains a few gold brackets, and a few bolts are scattered around the circle. In the background, two small figurines are visible, standing on the sand. The image is accompanied by a tweet from the user "CatSalad" with t…

After 20 years, bottom brackets can get a little stiff. M8x1mm holds the tool on.

Tools for removing a cartridge bottom bracket, and the bottom bracket. PB Blaster, blow torch, igniter, Park bottom bracket tool, 65mm M8x1 bolt and 13mm nut to attach tool to bottom bracket axle, 1-1/4 (32mm) deep hex socket and breaker bar to apply all the torque.

how i remember markdown link syntax
it’s tidy to [put the link out of line][anchor]. the link text and anchor are both in []. the anchor is like a footnote reference so it goes after the link text
[anchor]: https://example•com
if the link text is the same as the [anchor][] the anchor can be abbreviated
if the url is not too unwieldy it can go inline in place of the anchor in ()
the change of brackets []-> () distinguishes anchors from relative URLs

this is my fave pic I took I think

what was once an auditorium for a middle school now lies in ruins. only the orange metal brackets where the chairs were once affixed remain, jutting out of a blue-grey floor littered with shattered glass, metal wiring, broken tile, and other debris of abandonment. only the foreground is well lit; the backdrop is in complete darkness, save for a small corner illuminated by a cell phone flashlight. a woman stands in front of the light source, leaving only her black silhouette visible.

Once every few years I need to do some web development so I look at the state of html and javascript. Lo and behold, today is that day again.
I have now found out about web components, javascript modules, javascript template literals (like Python f-strings but you can pipe the string through a custom function that can rewrite the variables you put in curly brackets).

Wife and I improvised a wardrobe from scrap stuff we had laying around. 0€ spent, some 3D printed parts (designed in #SolveSpace) hold everything together. That's why I love #3DPrinting. 💪

A "wardrobe" with a white plate below which there is a wooden bar to hang jackets etc. 3D printed brackets hole everything together.
A "wardrobe" in the space between an IKEA PAX and a wall, built from two of these compressed wood planks and a wooden bar to hang jackets from. On top there are two boxes with shoes and stuff and a curtain can be used to hide everything.
