The Georgia Museum of Art’s Samuel H. Kress Gallery was refreshed in September, adding religious images by European artists rarely exhibited in Athens. Three new paintings, on loan from the Sean N. Parker Foundation, are now on display alongside paintings, prints and decorative arts from the museum's collection. I got ahead of some scaling and quota issues, but I ran into some accidents
I didn't realize that calling RunInstances with DryRun=True would also use up the RunInstances burst capacity. I was using dry runs as a readiness check for fresh glider instances. So I burned my burst capacity quota on dry runs. Whoops. 🙃
I switched to a functional readiness design: if an instance is capable of provisioning children, then it is healthy and ready
