Pokémon Champions monetization is weird. It has the typical F2P thing where you start out with lots of currency and items, but then it slows to a crawl. The weird thing is that this is true even if you pay.
After 15 hours playing (supposedly), I completed the entire battle pass and got 50 Pokémon, but now it seems like I’ll only be able to get a few Pokémon per week even if I log in and play every day.
I guess it’ll improve in a month when the next battle pass comes out.

Next practice it took us just a bit over an hour to get to 15. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not, but she followed that up with the best pitching game she has had so far in her two seasons. The biggest difference I saw is no rushing, methodical pace. We remind her to slow down from the dugout, take breaths, etc but she just kept on rushing with her setup. The last game was different - nice and steady regardless what's going on in the game. Let's hope it holds up!

Propaganda of the deed generally does the opposite of what it's supposed to do: it alienates rather than activates, destroying the movement it comes from. Until it doesn't. Until it actually sparks a revolution.
But there is a prerequisite for a successful revolution. That is an alternative system to pivot into as the old one collapses. That alternative is *far more dangerous* than any one-off action, up to and including literally killing a king or an emperor.
People will eventually rise up. That's just a matter of time. The question is what's left after everything gets burned down. That's a far more important question than, "is it happening?" It's happening (sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly), what's next?
Hierarchy manifests complexity beyond its ability to manage. We're seeing that now, we will see it more. Distributed authority is more stable. Build a distributed society within the burned out warehouse of the hierarchical one.

yesterday I upgraded my local #llm to qwen3.5 - and it works pretty well; this is using Unsloth's Qwen3.5-35B-A3B-Q4_K_M.gguf - I also had to upgrade to the latest llama.cpp (and it's got a few rough edges); but it seems as good as the Qwen3-Next-80B I was using, and it's also multimodal (with the mmproj gguf needed) and the multimodal is usefully fast at an image description on CPU only…
