QoL. On Chinese phones (which are definitely the best bang for the buck, including my Vivo X200 Pro), the notification management is an absolute PITA. Especially all Mastodon clients (being unknown to the phone manufacturers) are notoriously bad in showing notifications. It makes for a nice quiet day though 😆

PriceGhost is a service that you can run on your server to check the prices of products on Amazon, Aliexpress, etc. at the frequency you select. In addition, if you create a Telegram bot, you can configure it to send you notifications in case of price changes. This way, you don't have to constantly check the price either in the online store or on the PriceGhost web interface.
At the moment, it is running in a Docker container on my home server and works like a charm.

I have a tablet whose main function is to play Polytopia in the metro. No Sim and most of the time no wi-fi either.

Notification permissions are unable to survive an existence of KPIs.
Like literally any app I have that has a company behind it is unable to resist push notifications spam over time.
