The Bonfire team have met their first “maintenance” fundraising goal. The next stretch goal is designing and shipping federated groups.

Hey Mastodon, can you please help me out here?
Which is the best *free tool* to organise a community of school parents in Italy?
For now they consider a GoogleDoc for documentation (just 4-5 pages for now) a Facebook page (to organise the discussions in threads). I'd like to propose a free alternative
People involved could be 10-30. There should be some sort of collaborative document management (like a wiki), and ideally a space for discussion (like a forum).

I was just thinking about what you should do when you have a problem with an organisation you are part of, and so far (I've only just woken up) I think the steps are:
1. Wait - maybe it will pass
2. Act yourself to fix it - at the very least you will gain a better undertaking of the
3. Complain - perhaps the boss doesn't know theres a problem
4. Organise - what you can't fix alone you can fix together
5. Leave - if all else fails

Unitary representations attached to parabolic subgroups: the case of abelian unipotent radical
We classify the unitary representations with integral infinitesimal character in Lusztig's category of unipotent representations in the case when the geometric parameter space comes from the action of a Levi subgroup on the abelian nilradical of a (maximal) parabolic subalgebra. We organise the unitary representations into microlocal Arthur packets. This is a test case for investigating a conjectural description of unitary representations with integral infinitesimal character.

Question for #Fediverse experts: There's a new community I became a part of that communicates primarily through a #Signal group atm.
Pretty good (#Whatsapp is still the standard here) but they're not completely happy with it. One of the reasons I heard was that they'd like some way to organise #events, hold #polls, distribute #files and other info..
Is there a #Fedi #platform that offers these things? Or would something like #Nextcloud be a better option?
