Coinbase has confirmed an insider breach after a contractor improperly accessed the data of approximately thirty customers, which BleepingComputer has learned is a new incident that occurred in December.

We should track down whomever decided streaming TV apps need to block taking a screenshot. They need to know a couple things:
1) Sharing screenshots generates interest, which means money for streamers & IP holders alike.
2) You know what doesn’t stop me from making a screenshot? Pirated media.

Two screenshots of the lock screen on my iPhone 17 Pro whose difference confounds me. In one the contrast is good and I can read the numbers on the pad, but the time and battery status are hidden. In the other, the key pad is pretty much invisible but I can see the time and battery. I have no idea how to trigger the contrastier one; it just sometimes does this.
Is this phenomenon known? Explicable? It's as if the new UI is sometimes ashamed to show how unreadable it is and compensates before hiding again.
Somebody made this happen. Any idea why?

Daughter and her partner have fallen in love with Tasmania.
I have been showered with a treasure trove of shared photos from their tassie travels so far. They've also included screenshots of map routes (which is handy).
They rang last night with tales of their adventures so now we're planning an old school slide night when they get back (cocktails included).

Looks like the Nintendo Switch limits you to 10,000 screenshots stored on the micro SD card, regardless of how much free storage space is available. That sounds like a lot, and I suppose it is a lot, but somehow my daughter and I hit that limit in the span of just a little over 21 months.
In the 3.5 years before that, we'd done about 7,800 screenshots, moved to an alternative subdirectory.
