I finished "Dear Wendy" by Ann Zhao a few days ago. It's a lovely platonic "romance" that deals explicitly with aro/ace identity, post-coming-out identity work as opposed to the initial realization journey, and Wellesley College student culture (although if unlike me that's not relevant to you, it's not like you need to be interested in this to enjoy the book).
It felt slightly weird to be reading a book by someone who I'm pretty sure could have been in one of my classes (but as far as I am remember wasn't). Probably would not have read it were it a normal romance, because that would have made character empathy super awkward. In any case, it feels useful to get an inside perspective on almost-contemporary student culture, especially the part that's a reminder of how many students love the liberal and progressive aspects of said culture, despite its flaws.
Super enjoyable and honestly pretty cozy book.

Ich hab einen sehr erfahrenen Kollegen, der seit ungefähr etwas über zwei Monaten einen super Premium Max VIP Account für eine KI besitzt.
Und ich hab so das Gefühl von außen, dass er seine normale Arbeit inzwischen gerne hinten anstellt und lieber mit der KI sich Auswertungen machen lässt. Und Statistiken und Grafiken und Analysen und Prototypen.

I have a large amount of code logging using logrus, and it's basically abandonware now that slog is in Go standard.
Big problem.
I spent some time getting Claude Code to make me a full drop-in replacement for logrus. I moved my biggest project to slog in sub 1 hour with this. Quality wise I think the generated outcome is pretty good - I would not have done it this well as its super tedious work.
I can gradually move to slog for new code with a aim to eradicate logrus…
